Notel Platform and Application

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Notel application or website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the platform.

2. Service Description

Notel is a technology-based digital platform that enables secure management, access, and interaction with digital content.

The platform allows users to view, write, annotate, and take notes directly on supported files such as PDFs, whether uploaded by users or provided by content providers.

Content on Notel is primarily delivered in file-based formats (such as documents and PDFs), and does not include video or multimedia content unless explicitly stated.

Notel allows content providers to share their materials with authorized users under defined permissions and controls.

Notel:

• Is not an educational institution
• Does not create content
• Does not own the content displayed
• Is not responsible for the content itself

3. User Accounts and Responsibility

• Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account
• Users are fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials
• Account sharing is strictly prohibited
• Users are responsible for all activities conducted through their accounts

4. Content Usage

Users may access content strictly within the permissions granted by the content provider.

Notel may allow users to interact with content through annotation and note-taking tools; however, such interactions do not grant ownership or any rights to the original content.

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

• Downloading content
• Copying or reproducing content
• Screen capturing or screen recording
• Printing or redistributing content
• Sharing content with unauthorized third parties

Any violation constitutes an infringement of intellectual property rights and may result in legal action.

5. Intellectual Property

• All intellectual property rights related to the content belong exclusively to the content provider
• Notel does not grant ownership or licensing rights beyond technical content delivery
• Notel acts solely as a technology intermediary and bears no responsibility for content-related disputes

6. Content Providers

Content providers represent and warrant that:

• They have the legal right to publish the content
• The content does not infringe any laws or intellectual property rights
• They assume full legal responsibility for the content they provide

7. Subscriptions and Payments

• Subscriptions on Notel are for access to platform features and services only, and are not tied to any specific content or content provider
• Certain platform features, including content uploading and publishing, require an active subscription
• Content available on the platform is provided by content providers without direct compensation from Notel
• Subscription fees are not allocated to or dependent on any specific content
• All payments are final and non-refundable
• In-app purchases are processed and managed by Apple or the applicable payment provider
• Notel is not responsible for billing, refunds, or financial disputes handled by third-party payment providers

8. Limitation of Liability

• Notel makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, quality, or suitability of content
• Notel shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of content
• Notel shall not be responsible for any changes, removal, or unavailability of content provided by content providers
• Use of the platform is at the user’s own risk

9. Misuse and Prohibited Activities

Users are prohibited from:

• Circumventing security or access controls
• Attempting to hack, disrupt, or compromise the platform
• Using unauthorized tools or methods
• Engaging in unlawful or abusive activities

Notel reserves the right to take immediate action without prior notice.

10. Account Suspension or Termination

Notel reserves the right to:

• Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Remove or restrict access to content
• Cooperate with legal authorities when required

No refunds shall be issued in such cases.

11. Amendments

Notel reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws and regulations of the jurisdiction in which the entity operating Notel is established.
